Wow, Project CARS Has Been Delayed AGAIN
Were you looking forward to playing Project CARS next month? We’ve got some bad news, <del datetime=”2015-02-19T09:18:24+00:00″>Namco Bandai</del> Bandai Namco has delayed the game <em>again</em>.
The racing sim was originally due for release on PS4, PC and Xbox One on 20 March 2015, though it has now been pushed back by two weeks to Thursday 2 April 2015.
This isn’t the first time the crowdfunded racer has been delayed – it was originally due for release 18 November 2015.
“Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS,” said Slightly Mad Studios Head Ian Bell. “But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April.”
What the studio will actually be able to achieve in two weeks remains to be seen, though if the time means Slightly Mad can iron out a few more of its bugs then we’re all for it.
X-ONE recently spoke with Slightly Mad Studios and played the latest build of Project CARS as part of a monster Race Off feature in X-ONE #121. Can Project CARS compete with Forza Motorsport 6? You’ll need to read on to find out!
