Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Balance Patch Coming?
Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono has teased fans about a future update for Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition 2012 – though he won’t be the man to do it.
It seemed as though Capcom was finally done with the title, to move onto other projects like Street Fighter x Tekken (which will be getting a balance patch this month) but Ono seems to be hinting otherwise.
“I had a lot of opinion about AE re-tuning,” he tweeted. “We’re thinking that we was wondering what we should do. I’ll be continue to hearing for it!”
However, if there is a balance patch, it seems unlikely that Ono will be the man overseeing it.
“So, I’ll be take off about working SF’s for a while after SF25th final tournament,” he tweeted. “I’d keep seeing through final tournament for the future!”
The finals of the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary tournament takes place on December 8th. Ono has been vocal about wanting to work on Darkstalkers, so that’s presumably what will happen in the producer’s future.
