Yesterday we brought you news of the Gears Of War 3 worldwide release date. While that hits on the 20 September, Microsoft has also announced a number of new games and release dates for 360 at X11 in San Francisco.
First up is the Halo: Reach Defiant map pack. This will be released on 15 March and will be priced at 800 MSP. It will feature three new 'battlefields' (maps) Condemmed, Highlands and Unearthed.
Fable III will be getting an add-on on the 1 March called Traitor's Keep. It'll cost 560 MSP and feature three new areas: Ravenscar Keep, Clockwork Island, and Godwin Estate. It will also come with 250 extra Gamerscore.
The Gunstringer is a new game from Twisted Pixel Games ('Splosion Man), and is a Kinect-exclusive game. All we know is that it involves 'marionetting' and 'shooting' and takes place in a Wild West setting.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is also getting a new add-on in the form of The Da Vinci Disappearence. You guessed it: Da Vinci has been kidnapped and it's up to Ezio to rescue him.
The Dishwater: Vampire Smile is a new game from indie dev James Silva. It's a sequel to 2009's Dead Samurai. And, 3D fans, it supports 3D.
PC hit Torchlight will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade on 9 March and will cost 1200 MSP.
That's pretty much it from X11 for the moment, only to say that Microsoft has confirmed that the Gears 3 multiplayer beta will begin mid-April and you'll be able to vote for which maps are included by logging into the Gears Facebook page
More from X11 later.
