Namco: Enslaved ‘Finally Being Recognised’
Enslaved's soundtrack is up against those in James Bond 007: Blood Stone and Napoleon: Total War in the 56th Ivor Novello's 'Best Original Videogame Score' category.
“We are very excited by Enslaved finally being recognised and being nominated for an Ivor Norvello award," Namco Bandai Marketing Director Lee Kirton told NowGamer.
Enslaved was well-received by critics, but struggled for sales on its release last year – Cambridge-based developer Ninja Theory is now working on DmC for Capcom.
"Enslaved is a title that we hold dear to out heart and something we are still focusing on," Kirton added. "Obviously many people haven’t experienced it, yet all I seem to hear are gamers that want great storytelling, great visuals and fun cinematic game play. This is what Enslaved delivered and it can literally be picked up across UK retail for stupidly bargain prices. The game features award winning talent that should be recognised for years to come.”
Enslaved is available for around £15 at various retailers – look out for the Ivor Novello results when the awards take place on 19 May.
