Microsoft teases long awaited Xbox One feature
After months of waiting, it looks like Microsoft is finally making good on its promise to bring screenshot functionality to Xbox One.
Head Of Xbox Phil Spencer shared a screengrab of the feature over Twitter last night. It looks like we will be capturing screenshots in the same way as we do video; double-tapping the Xbox button on the controller and then hitting Y to take a screen grab.
It isn’t yet clear whether there will also be equivalent Kinect voice command, though we imagine that goes without saying.
Spencer confirmed last month that the functionality would arrive “early this year” after numerous community requests since the Xbox One’s launch in 2013.
Fingers crossed it arrives in March’s system update!
