L.A. Noire Facial Tech Headed To More Games, Films
L.A. Noire was lauded for its ground-breaking faces, captured using the Motionscan technology developed by Depth Analysis.
“There were certainly a lot of new ideas and technologies that have spun out during the development stages but mainly when we begin filming,” Bao told NowGamer. “We have already begun tests for game and film partners, and even other industries. I’d love to tell you, but we’ll have to wait until we begin filming first.”
Bao added that numerous developers have shown an interest in the technology. “We have been able to provide MotionScan tests to various leading game directors and studio heads who have been interested in using this tech, and have their own ideas of how the tech can bring their own IP or license to life.”
L.A. Noire is available now for Xbox 360 and PS3 and has lots of DLC incoming.
