Halo dev: ‘Halo Universe Can Work With Kinect’
Frank O' Connor, formerly of Bungie and now at dedicated Halo developer 343 Industries, has revealed Kinect has its place within Halo.
Talking at X11 the franchise development director said: "I can see loads of way that the Halo universe could work [with Kinect] but you couldn't take a team slayer game at the moment and do it. I don't think anybody wants that. We could do an interactive movie, for example, and it doesn't have to be related to gameplay. We've been looking at ways to make it work with Halo: Waypoint."
O' Connor was also quick to dismiss the on-going rumours regarding the long anticipated Combat Evolved remake as well.
"It's a rumour. Microsoft doesn't comment on rumour or speculation. If you really want to play Halo: Combat Evolved on your 360 in 720p go to Games On Demand. It's there now."
The new Halo: Reach map pack, entitled Defiant, comes out 15 March. Keep an eye on NowGamer for hands-on impressions and all the latest news from it.
