GTA 5: ‘Directions Will Be Provided In One Week’s Time’
If you’ve been keeping up with EpsilonismToday – the seemingly ‘official’ Twitter account of GTA Scientology spoof Epsilonism – then you’ll already know it’s played a huge part in teasing GTA 5 news.
The Twitter account has often teased more GTA 5 news, the arrival of new Rockstar merchandise and even potential story details in the ultimate fate of Cris Fromage – the founder of Epsilonism first named in GTA: San Andreas.
After a five month hiatus, the EpsilonismToday account has started up again, on the 20 April teasing a ‘chance to learn to truth’.
That truth, it seems, is this Epsilonism screensaver, which can be downloaded and installed for your PC from the Rockstar Newswire.
While that would be enough of a tease – it is a pretty entertaining screensaver – there are a couple of pieces of information hidden within.
The first is the Rockstar Newswire itself, which reads: “The Epsilon Program does not exist in just one time or place. We invite you to visit one of our enlightenment centers.”
The post ends with “Directions will be provided in one week’s time” and, following this train of viral marketing, suggests we could see more GTA 5 news released in a week.
Additionally is the screensaver itself, which seems to ambiguously tease some other interesting details, is worth watching in its entirety.
For example, we spotted this guy:
Though he’s not named, we’d assume this to be a GTA 5 version of Cris Fromage, the leader of Epsilonism who disappeared during San Andreas. Will GTA 5 finally reveal his fate?
Additionally a series of ‘Goals of Kifflom’ that – again, if we take to mean GTA 5 – are a twee way of Rockstar hyping up an already pretty hyped game.
Lastly is a series of different shots in the background which you might otherwise ignore. This are in engine, by the looks of it, and could even suggest some locations for GTA 5.
Somehow Russian website GTARealMods has managed to get that same screensaver but without the text or imagery applied over it, making the locations a little easier to see.
It’s all very exciting.
