Gran Turismo 5: UK Price Round-Up
Gran Turismo 5 is finally here. Honest. To say Polyphony has made us wait for the latest entry in the iconic automotive franchise would be something of an understatement, with Kazunori Yamauchi's team of fanatical gearheads working on the game during a six-year development period.
But where to buy the game? As usual there are numerous deals across online, high street and supermarket retailers, so check out our breakdown below to see the best offer for you:
Trade in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit or Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 to get GT5 for £7.47, until 4 December. Otherwise expect to pay £39.47.
Get Gran Turismo 5 for just £4.99 if you trade in Codemasters' F1 2010, or £37.91 if you don't.
The US electronics giant is offering GT5 via it's new UK online store for just £29.99, and probably in-store as well on launch day, if it's abnything like their Black Ops launch offer.
Offering GT5 for 99p, but naturally there's a catch – you'll need to trade-in any two PlayStation titles from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, F1 2010, Blood Stone 007, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Call of Duty: Black Ops. Not great, but you will get £10 worth of credit back too.
Haven't got a PS3 yet? Want to play GT5? Try Play.com which is offering a 320GB PS3 slim with Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Edition for £274.9, while ShopTo.Net goes even lower at £269.85.
