FOR THE MAG: What’s next for Assassin’s Creed?
Assassin’s Creed Unity is barely out the door and we already have details on next year’s Assassin’s Creed game.
Assassin’s Creed: Victory will be released in 2015 on Xbox One (and other, less awesome, platforms) and is going to be set in Victorian London. Along with the new setting, it also appears to introduce some new elements, including a grappling hook and disguise mechanics. Interestingly, it will also be developed by Ubisoft Quebec – the first main game not developed directly by Ubisoft Montreal.
The leak came from Kotaku, who managed to get their hands on seven minutes of “target gameplay” footage and a handful of screenshots.
We want your thoughts and comments on Assassin’s Creed: Victory. Is it too soon for another Assassin’s Creed game, especially after the Assassin’s Creed: Unity fiasco – which is still broken almost a month after launch. Is Victorian era London the right fit for the series and what do you want to see Ubisoft Quebec change?
