Do You Still Want Fez 2? Try Making It Yourself.
Following Phil Fish’s rant last week, where he proclaimed that we “don’t deserve a sequel” to his indie hit Fez, the enigmatic developer has taken yet another step towards leaving the industry entirely.
Taking to Twitter for one final time before suspending his account (again), Fish declared that he is putting the Fez IP and his company Polytron up for sale, and that no reasonable offer will be turned down.
“I would like to announce that POLYTRON and the FEZ IP are now for sale. No reasonable offer will be turned down. I am done. I want out.”
The fine folks over at r/gaming grabbed a screen-grab of the tweet before Fish went dark.
We have no idea what a ‘reasonable’ offer might be, but if you’re really desperate for Fez 2 you could always purchase the IP rights and take a stab at creating it yourself. We believe in you.
