Deus Ex HR: Hardest Thing Making A 25Hr Game Is…
Deus Ex: Human Revolution was delayed from an early 2011 release until the end of August, which has enabled developer Eidos Montreal to increase the overall quality. "We’ve been able to have the time necessary to really polish and fine-tune the game," Dugas told NowGamer.
But what about making a 25 hour AAA game?
"The challenges lie in the ability of the team to produce that much content in a reasonable amount of time and to make sure the content created receives the love it deserves," Dugas continued.
"Looking at how hard it is to make games nowadays and seeing what the Deus Ex: Human Revolution team managed to produce with a high level of quality throughout, is simply phenomenal."
Gamers will recognise the amount of work that went into Human Revolution, Dugas added. "The team worked hard to make this game special and when you play it, you can feel it. They've been crazy enough to make this ambitious vision come alive; I can't be more thankful!"
