Could Platinum Games Reveal Metal Gear Rising 2 At E3?
Platinum Games is set to announce a new game at E3, it has been revealed.
The Bayonetta developer is set to stream the unannounced title live over at IGN at 11pm BST on 16 June, hours after E3 kicks off proper.
While it isn’t yet known whether the title will be revealed during one of the conferences ahead of the IGN stream, or whether it will be a new IP or a sequel, there’s a good chance it could be the long rumoured Metal Gear Rising 2.
We thought we might have seen something about the title back in February – after a mysterious teaser seemingly pointed to an announcement – but that ended up coming to nothing. We also wouldn’t say no to Bayonetta returning to Xbox after Bayonetta 2 stuck with its Wii U exclusivity.
That isn’t the only reveal we expect to see from Platinum, the studio also has Xbox One exclusive Scalebound in the works – and we expect to finally see that in action during Microsoft’s press conference on Monday.
