Call Of Duty 2015 announced, will it be Black Op’s 3?
Pretty much anything can happen in life, it’s an unpredictable beast. But there’s always one thing to fall back on in times of hardships, and that is the knowledge that Activision will have a new Call Of Duty on shelves come November time.
Surprising nobody, Treyarch will unleash its debut PS4 and Xbox One title in 2015 as an “exciting” new Call Of Duty arrives.
Apparently the game will be “loaded with innovation” and is scheduled to release during Q4 – which is corporate speak for November.
This will be the first COD from Treyarch in the new three-year development cycle that led Sledgehammer’s Advanced Warfare to such enjoyable heights late last year. Treyarch is of course responsible for Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Little is known about the title, though Activision expects sales of this year’s Call of Duty “to be consistent” with last year’s Advanced Warfare. Which, all things considered, suggests it may not be a direct sequel to the insanely popular Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
In fact – if the latest rumours are to be believed – Treyarch will return to World War 2 with a sequel to World At War. More information will be “coming soon” and E3 is just a few short months away. What do you think it’ll be?
