Batman: Arkham Sequel Domain Names Registered
Batman: Arkham City sequels rumours have surfaced with a number of new domain names being registered by internet brand protection company, MarkMonitor.
According to Fusible, Warner Bros has been secretly buying up Arkham-related domain names through the MarkMonitor company but there’s some speculation whether the names are connected to Rocksteady’s fantastic Batman game, a reboot movie related to the game or, and we’re really keeping our fingers crossed for this, both.
According to Cosmic Book News, a new Batman film is expected in 2016 and it could be based on Rocksteady’s Arkham series. All of the Arkham-related domains were registered on January 10th.
Here are the domains registered:
arkhamuniverse.com (Arkham Universe)
batmanarkahmuniverse.com (Batman Arkham Universe)
batmanarkhamarises.com (Batman Arkham Arises)
batmanarkhambegins.com (Batman Arkham Begins)
batmanarkhamdarkknight.com (Batman Arkham Dark Knight)
batmanarkhamknight.com (Batman Arkham Knight)
batmanarkhamlegend.com (Batman Arkham Legend)
batmanarkhamlegends.com (Batman Arkham Legends)
batmanarkhamnight.com (Batman Arkham Night)
batmanarkhamorigins.com (Batman Arkham Origins)
batmanarkhamstories.com (Batman Arkham Stories)
darkknightarkham.com (Dark Knight Arkham)
dcarkhamuniverse.com (DC Arkham Universe)
dcarkhamverse.com (DC Arkhamverse)
thearkhamuniverse.com (The Arkham Universe)
It’s not confirmed that Warner Bros is the company connected to the Arkaham domains, but it is a client of MarkMonitor. Another reason for the domain name splurge could be down to Warner Bros cover all bases, protecting its intellectual property or even securing the names for other Batman-related products.
