6 Kinect navigation gestures you need to know
People tend to forget that the Xbox One also supports motion gestures to help you navigate the user interface. It’s worth noting that gestures can be turned off entirely while watching video/movies if you head into Settings and look for the Kinect tab to tweak the options.
To instantly return to the Home screen, hold both hands out and grab the sides of the screen. Pull your hands into the middle of the screen to return.
Hold your hand over an app or game for a few seconds and you’ll be presented with the options to launch, pin to dashboard or get more info.
Drag The Screen
Hold your hand out and make a fist, then pull the screen to the left or right. This will drag the screen along in that direction.
When a notification pops up, hold both hands out in front of you, close together in front of your chest, then pull both hands out horizontally to open it.
Zoom In and Out
Raise your palm to Kinect, and close your hand over the area you want to zoom. Pull your hand towards you or push it away from you to zoom the screen in the desired direction.
