Xbox One: “Everything Will Be Connected To The Internet Eventually”
Our team at E3 have been talking to Jason Bender, Senior Designer on Blizzard’s console port of Diablo 3, and we managed to get his opinions on the Xbox One and PS4.
“To me it’s about the games” says Bender. “I have an Xbox and a PS3 and I’ll probably get both of the next gen. I like it when games come out on both so I can choose which platform.
“Simply, I make games, so I just want to see lots of good games. What I like about the next-gen consoles is that they are both fairly straightforward to develop for, they both have a lot of memory and power.
“In regards to the connectivity issue… a lot of gamers are already connected to the internet, and eventhing will be eventually. But will it be next year, two years from now, or longer? In the long run it will be fine, but it’s difficult now when not everyone is connected.”
Diablo 3 is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 3, and the PS4 at a later date. Stay on NowGamer for more E3 coverage.
