Verdict
It's for cherridy, folks, so cough up...
Like an amazing lovechild of Tetris, DJ Hero and Nintendo’s Electroplankton, Chime is an utterly compulsive puzzle experience that, while it sells itself as a puzzle game, it really isn’t. It feels more like a music-creation rhythm game, with the block stacking feeling like a means to an end rather than the point of the exercise.

But does it 'chime' the end of worldwide suffering? No.
With beautifully calming, bewitching music from the likes of Orbital and Fred Deakin of Lemon Jelly, Chime is capable, with a sturdy pair of headphones, of drawing you into an almost zen-like state of rhythmical meditation. We’re not kidding. This isn’t Lumines, or Tetris, or Hexic. This is something that needs to be played to be believed and then cherished.
Final Verdict
At only 400 Points, a majority of the proceeds of which go to charity, it’s somewhat ridiculous not to simply dive in and join the cult of Chime. 9.0/10
