MW2 Single-Player Campaign DLC In The Works?

Craig Fairbrass, the ubiquitous 6’3” cockney henchman typecast actor who voiced Ghost in Modern Warfare 2 – and Gaz in Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare – has let slip that a game focusing on the former may well be on the cards. No doubt Infinity Ward will be chuffed that he’s told the world.

Speaking to That VideoGame Blog, he related “in this game I'm now voicing a guy called Ghost, who now just got a spin-off comic of his own and they're talking about another little game to go with it. So, I'm quite excited about it. It's grown and grown and grown.”

Now for the speculation; it wouldn’t surprise us one bit if, now that Modern Warfare is officially the biggest thing in the world, Infinity Ward was not considering single-player story-based episodes in addition to multiplayer maps and other extensions of the online experience. We may be wrong, but then… we may be right.

It’s not the first time Fairbrass has gaffed either. Pop along to his site and he lists his recent voice work as having been on Call Of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2. We’ve never heard of that game.
