GTA 5 Rumours Hint At Upcoming Reveal

Rockstar's next Grand Theft Auto game could be codenamed 'Rush' according to casting calls for a Take Two Interactive title from last year

I feel fairly confident in saying that "Rush" is actually a codename for GTA 5
GTA 5 and 'Rush' were linked by semi-retired net sleuth Superannuation, after he cross-referenced casting company Telsey & Company with recent casting calls.
"Among the projects listed in the casting call was an "interactive project" called "Rush," which featured characters that fit with the few details I heard about GTA5; outlandish characters, weed, gangsters, & celebrities fit the profile for a contemporary LA-set GTA game," the net sleuth tweeted.
"It's being casted by Telsey & Company. With all of that, I feel fairly confident in saying that "Rush" is actually a codename for GTA 5," he added.
Meanwhile an actress also has Take Two project 'Rush' listed on her online profile, under the role "Inner city female street".
The full list of characters certainly fits with GTA's satirical humour with FBI agents, racist FPS gamers and Welsh cult leaders mentioned.
LA Noire releases in May, but Rockstar has a pretty empty slate moving forward, bar the delayed Max Payne 3 and distant PS3 espionage exclusive, Agent. If development is in full swing on GTA 5, we won't be surprised to see it officially announced sometime around this year's E3, ahead of a release towards the end of next year.
