Braid has been "very profitable" for creator
Indie dev Jonathan Blow has said that his hit platformer Braid has proved surprisingly profitable, but that his next game will be "different in almost every way"

"[Braid has] made more money for me than if I had been working in a high-paying job for all the time I was developing the game," he said. "...it has been very profitable. I figured that there would be a core of people who would enjoy it, but I didn't expect that it would be a top-ten seller for this long."

Braid was the second biggest XBL seller of 2008, according to Blow, outselling Geometry Wars 2.
When quizzed on Braid's anticipated follow-up, Blow teased that he is working on multiple projects, with his next title being completely different.
"I've got a lot of projects that I'm always thinking about, and I've got one that I've started that's very different in almost every way from Braid."
