Namco: Bonuses Vital To Tekken 6
Tom Hopkins 14:32, Wednesday 1 July 2009

Namco producer Katsuhiro Harada has said that the extra content included in console versions of Tekken is vital to the series' popularity
Speaking exclusively to 360 magazine, Harada said: “One of the reasons why the Tekken franchise has been so popular is because of the bonus content that we add to it when we port it to consoles. We’ve received very positive fan feedback because of that.”
“We really tried to provide the same experience on both platforms”
He added that the Scenario Campaign mode due for the home version of Tekken 6 should excite fans, with added features such as ring outs and opponent-juggling with multiple fighters.
When pressed on whether the series’ debut on 360 would surpass its PS3 counterpart, however, the producer was more diplomatic. “That’s a difficult question actually because we really tried to provide the same experience on both platforms,” said Harada, before insisting that personal preference would be the overriding factor in the different versions of Tekken 6.
