The King Of Pop has died aged 50 following a cardiac arrest.
The superstar will be best remembered for his iconic music and broad influence on pop culture in general, but he was also a video games fan, amassing a huge number of arcade machines at his Neverland Ranch, as well as starring in numerous titles.
On Monday we reported on rumours that a new Michael Jackson game is in development; his involvement with games started in 1990 when the star collaborated with Sega to adapt the film Moonwalker for arcades, consoles, and home computers of the age.

He later starred in Sega’s dance-action title Space Channel 5 and it’s sequel, before becoming a playable character in Midway’s Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 alongside other cameo stars Shaquille O’Neal and Bill Clinton.
The status of the rumoured new Jackson game is still unknown.
