Team 17 has confirmed Worms 2: Armageddon will be available on Xbox Live Arcade on July 1, while Croatian developer Croteam has announced an HD makeover for Serious Sam.

Team 17’s turn-based multiplayer strategy sequel will be available for 800 Microsoft points (or £6.80 in old money), and comes packing more new modes, customisation and weapons than you can shake a sheep at.

Meanwhile Duke-alike FPS star Serious Sam will bring his own manic brand of action to the XBLA this Summer courtesy of Croteam – for a very reasonable 1200 MS points (£10.20) Serious Sam HD will offer a re-imagined version of 2002 PC outing First Encounter, offering 12 levels of action and four-player online co-op.
