Indie developer Introversion Software has posted a frank and bleak account of the company's fortunes during 2008, revealing that the studio was months away from closure
“By all accounts, 2008 was a disastrous year for Introversion, characterised by an incredibly positive start and a noticeable increase in ambition but not a single genuine success throughout the whole year,” writes Introversion's co-founder Chris Delay on the developer’s blog.
Delay goes on to outline his frustrations over the mistakes the developer made over the last year, providing an illuminating insight into the challenges facing small independent studios.
“By all accounts, 2008 was a disastrous year for Introversion”
However, despite a terrible 2008, Introversion is still forging ahead and is currently looking for a publisher to pick up the DS version of Defcon, which we’re gagging to get our hands on. EA? Ubi? Anyone?
