New GRID, Operation Flashpoint Confirmed

Codemasters has confirmed it is working on sequels to Race Driver: GRID and Operation Flashpoint: Dragoon Rising.

In an interview, Codemasters VP of studios Gavin Cheshire stated, “In Southam it’s full steam ahead with the next iteration in our Flashpoint series, as well as the next Dirt and Grid. It’ll be interesting to see how it all pans out.”

The studio is currently developing the Black-inspired shooter Bodycount and putting the finishing touches to F1 2010.

“It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out.”

Meanwhile downplaying reports that the company is looking to relocate to another country. Cheshire confirmed that were would be, “no move to India. This is about building on the Codemasters that already exists.”
