It was made official at Comic-Con, rival fighting franchises Street Fighter and Tekken are receiving the crossover treatment. Surely this is the battle to end all battles?
Capcom's Yoshinori Ono revealed the 2D beat em up at the convention, along with the world premiere trailer which showed Ryu and Kazuya going toe to toe in a war-torn city stage.
Fans went ballistic when Chun-Li and Nina Williams were both tagged into the bout, confirmed that the game would keep Capcom's crossover tag system.

Due for a 2012 release, Street Fighter X Tekken marks the clashing of two heavyweights in the fighting genre. In addition, Tekken X Street Fighter will release simultaneously, delivered in typical 3D Tekken style.
