The Entertainment Software Association has said 90 per cent of floorspace at 2009's E3 Expo has already been bought-up by developers and publishers
"If you have a career in games or just love to play them, get out your calendar and circle the first week of June," said EA's Jeff Brown. "The E3 Expo is bigger and better this year and for EA, the expanded format means we'll have more demos, announcements, promotions and blockbuster games than ever before."
ESA has currently amassed over 100 exhibitors, and expects around 40,000 attendees for the event, which is scheduled to take place June 2 - 4 at the L.A. Convention Center.
“ESA has since said it will bring back some of the "glamour and sizzle" of past events”
Last year's E3 was heavily criticised by high profile figures in the industry for being too low key, and for not representing the size and importance of the games industry.
ESA has since said it will bring back some of the "glamour and sizzle" of past events.
