Split/Second - New Name & Street Date Confirmed

If you're not excited about Split/Second, then you darn well should be. It's incoming... soon!

We're not going to give you a zillion reasons why you should be excited about Split/Second, we have done so here, in our exclusive hands-on preview with the very latest build of the game.

“On shelves May 21”

Here, we can exclusively reveal that the game's name has not so much changed as it has been added to. Now called Split/Second: Velocity, the game will be hitting UK stores on 21 May.

We wholeheartedly endorse Split/Second: Velocity. It was one of our picks of last year's E3 and the game has only improved and improved since that showing. The reason for the new subtitle is unclear at this time, although we can reveal that the city in which the game is set is called 'Velo'. You work it out.
