Soviet Assault cancelled on consoles

Ubisoft has confirmed that the PS3 and 360 versions of World in Conflict: Soviet Assault have been cancelled

"A console version of World in Conflict is not planned for release at this time," a Ubisoft representative told IGN.

Ubisoft picked-up Soviet Assault after it was dropped by Vivendi, along with Ghostbusters, during the Activision Blizzard merger last year.

“The RTS was originally scheduled for a console release in 2007 while it was housed by Vivendi”

The RTS was originally scheduled for a console release in 2007 while it was housed by Vivendi, but was then pushed to the fourth quarter of 2008.

The PC version, which is expansion pack for the original World in Conflict and not a standalone game, is set for release later this month.
