Ubisoft: Mystery Sequel In The Works

Tom Hopkins 17:40, Tuesday 9 February 2010

The French publisher has reported it's financial earnings for the quarter, with a few surprises along the way

The company confirmed that it had "at least" seven big franchise sequels in the works: Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction, Driver, Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands, Assassin’s Creed, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon and Raving Rabbids. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was just unveiled this morning - but that only makes six games... what else has Ubi got in the works?

“At least seven big franchise sequels are in the works”

At least two new brands will be launched as well - R.U.S.E. being one and the other currently unannounced. Meanwhile, the next Assassin's Creed game will be set in Rome and include an online multiplayer assassination mode. The Wii will also be getting it's own version of Ghost Recon...
