Ubisoft has unveiled a new entry in the Tom Clancy shooter franchise

After those hints, Ubi has confirmed Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is being developed at the publisher's Paris Studio and is due for release worldwide in time for Christmas 2010.

“The game will feature cutting-edge weaponry, and state-of-art single-player and multiplayer modes”

The GRAW team are working on the game, which will feature "cutting-edge technology, prototype high-tech weaponry, and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes," according to Ubi. Expect a multiplayer Beta in the summer, for Splinter Cell Conviction customers. No word on formats yet, but Xbox 360, PC and PS3 would seem logical.
