The first solid facts about Team Bondi's stylish thriller have been been revealed
The recent Game Informer feature has uncovered the following on the upcoming Rockstar-published game which may, or may not be headed to the PS3 and Xbox 360.
“The facial animation is actually based on sophisticated facial motion capture”
- The protaganist is a corrupt LAPD detective called Cole Phelps
- Phelps moves department to homicide
- The game is set in 1947, and Phelps has a shady WWII past
- Gameplay surrounds cases which can be solved via a combination of investigations, interviews and interrogations
- The realistic crime scenes require an eye for detail to spot clues, which can be written an your notepad
- The facial animation is actually based sophisticated facial motion capture
- Dialogue choices generally come down to coax, accuse or force
All sounds good to us, and it's being reported that the game could see the light of day by September...
