Ubisoft Hints At 'Big Announcement'

Tom Hopkins 14:36, Monday 8 February 2010

The French publisher is gearing up for some big news according to community developers Aymeric Evennou and Kimi Matsuzaki

On Friday Matsuzaki tweeted "TGIF all! Looking forward to a Big announcement coming up next week! :)" while Evennou did likewise, writing: "Working with @UbiKimi on a thrilling new project!", following up with "I'd only say: "Big announcement coming up next week." and I mean BIG!"

“Looking forward to a big announcement coming up next week”

Evennou is based at Ubisoft's HQ in Paris, while Matsuzaki has links to Ubisoft Red Storm - home of Tomy Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2. With the current trend for high tech combat shooters, a third Advanced Warfighter game wouldn't be the most surprising announcement the company could come out with. Would you welcome it?
