Fallout publisher Bethesda has revealed details of the new post-apocalyptic action RPG sequel

The game is currently in the works over at Alpha Protocol developer Obsidian Entertainment, and is beng billed as sequel to Fallout 3. "The next chapter in the critically-acclaimed Fallout franchise, will be available in Autumn 2010," reads the press release. The game is being developed for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

“The game is currrently in the works over at Obsidian”

A few weeks back a forum post led to plenty of wild speculation about what would appear in the game, which is believed to utilise the same engine and gameplay mechanics as Fallout 3. Expect to see more details of the game emerge over the next few months at the official Fallout site.
