BioWare has clarified recent reports of references to the PS3 in the code for Mass Effect 2

Digital snoops unveiled the following lines of code:

The above led some to speculate that the game could be headed to the PS3 sooner rather than later, but a moderator on the BioWare forums has cleared up the confusion:

"The Unreal Engine is cross platform, hence the PS3 code. This was brought up back in Mass Effect 1 days as well," wrote Chris Priestly. Oh well.
