... but will Dead Rising 2 appear before the end of the year?
Capcom has been in touch to confirm the release dates for Lost Planet 2 and Super Street Fighter IV, but just as exciting is the news that Dead Rising 2 seems set for a late 2010 release. All of these games were expected to come out in the early part of 2010, but appear to have gotten held back for a little extra polishing time and to avoid the ridiculously busy release schedule.

Anyway, Lost Planet 2 will now be hitting UK store shelves on May 18, which is still a little way off, but well worth the wait if what we’ve seen so far is representative of the full game. Super Street Fighter IV on the other hand will be coming our way April 30 in all its combo glory.
In other news VG247 is reporting that Capcom Japan has confirmed Dead Rising 2 will be launching before the end of the year and that it has a live action film planned called Zombrex: Dead Rising Sun. We have no idea what that’s all about, but we'll endeavour to find out...
