Respawn recently confirmed that Titanfall will not be running at 1080p on the Xbox One at launch, but it has now been suggested that Respawn plans to release a 1080p patch that will see Titanfall's resolution boosted to 1080p.

An AV Forum member's post, posted on imgur, suggested that they had spoken to Respawn community manager Abbie Heppe, who told them that "they are aiming for 1080p at launch following the Xbox One patches".

"They told us there will be 2 patches pre-release," the poster continued, "which should get it to 1080p following the Xbox One patches.

The Xbox One patch being referred to aims to address many of the Xbox One issues, including improvements to the party system, and will add Twitch TV support to the Xbox One.

Respawn has previously confirmed that Titanfall was running at 792p for the beta and said that they hope to have Titanfall running at a native 900p at launch.

If this rumour is to believed, they may have successfully overshot that, getting Titanfall up to 1080p for the Xbox One launch.
