Major Nelson has said that the 'same long game is planned for Xbox One' as we saw with its predecessor Xbox 360.
Microsoft's Major Nelson was talking on Reddit following criticism over the delay to the Xbox One update, which was due to launch today. He noted that following the delay "things are moving quickly and all the teams are working extra hard. I don't really like giving dates either. Too risky."
Discussion then moved onto criticism of Microsoft and how it doesn't seem like the same company that made Xbox 360.
"We've got a lot of great stuff in store for Xbox One," Major Nelson replied. "It took years for the Xbox 360 to become a mature, feature laden platform. We've got the same long game planned for the Xbox One."
The February update, now due this week, will add a battery indicator and storage management options, among other things. The Xbox One March update will have faster friends list, fix party chat, add recent players and more.
What features would you like to see added to Xbox One that were present in Xbox 360?
