Rock Band 2 gets UK release on PS3 and Wii

EA and Harmonix have finally given the PS3 and Wii versions of Rock Band 2 a release date for the UK
The PS3 and PS2 version will hit UK stores on March 27, with the Wii version following on April 24.
Harmonix and EA are also cutting the price of Rockband's peripherals to coincide with the release.

Guitars have been brought down to GBP 39.99, drums to GBP 49.99 and the full instrument set (guitars, drums and microphone) now costs GBP 89.99.
Rock Band 2 is also getting hardware and software bundles for the first time in the region. All instruments and game will cost GBP 119 on the PS3 and 360, and GBP 109 on Wii and PS2.
When the original Rock Band was released in the UK last year the price of its peripherals caused a stir, with the full instrument pack (minus game) costing GBP 129.99 RRP.
Rock Band 2 was released on Xbox 360 in the UK and rest of Europe last November, due to exclusivity deal between EA and Microsoft.
