The Lionhead and Microsoft Game Studios chief has picked Halo as his top game of the noughties
For a NowGamer feature on the Industry's games of the decade, Molyneux told us: “Halo is my standout game of the decade for many reasons: great gameplay, great drama, and its cool multiplayer."
"They also solved the problem of making a great FPS on consoles by correctly identifying the hub of the problem as being too much weapon switching and instead said: ‘You can only carry two weapons.’ By throwing away that they created a landmark game.”

BioWare’s lead designer on Mass Effect 2, Casey Hudson cited Ico, Deus Ex and GTA: Vice City as top picks. “I guess these three all have one thing in common: they create a world that I’d want to live in,” he explained.
