CES: PSN Coming To TVs, PCs, Blu-ray Soon
Ian Dransfield 09:45, Thursday 7 January 2010

Sony used it's keynote speech at CES 2010 to once again talk up its plans to integrate PSN content into more than just PS3s and PSPs
While the plan has been floating around for nigh-on a year now, we’ve been given a bit more information as to what this will actually entail. Basically, users will have one account that will be able to access PSN downloads on network-enabled Bravia and Blu-ray players, as well as Windows PCs. Which certainly sounds interesting.
The rollout will be handled by a new studio – Sony Network Entertainment – which is headed by Kaz “Most Powerful Bloke In The World” Hirai. Hirai said the service would provide “a single user login and experience across all product lines.”

We have no idea what kind of content this will involve, but the service is set to start running on Bravia televisions and Blu-Ray devices beginning next month, likely spreading to other platforms soon, so we won’t have to wait long to find out what it is.
