id Software's new parent company Zenimax Media will now publish the developer's upcoming post-apocalyptic action game
ZeniMax Media acquired id in June and has now picked up the rights to publish the studio's next title, originally set to be published by Electronic Arts on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
“The game's development is completely unaffected”
RAGE will now be published by another Zenimax subsidary, Bethesda Softworks with EA now dropped from any involvment in the game. The press release stresses that the development of RAGE is completely unaffected.
Still now concrete details on when the game will be released, but good to know it's now being handled in-house.
