Nvidia Senior IR Director Chris Evenden has seemingly confirmed that GTA 5 will be coming to PC this fall.

In an earnings call transcribed by SeekingAlpha, and picked up by Crave Online, Evenden says that he expects Nvidia to benefit from a rush for new PC hardware, spurred by new titles such as Call of Duty: Ghosts and Assassins's Creed IV.

Crucially though, in his listing of big titles to come this fall, Evenden includes Rockstar's GTA 5.

Here is the relevent paragraph in full:

"The PC market is evolving. As entry level laptops face pressure from tablets. Yet sales of specialty PCs like gaming systems and work stations continue to grow. The disparity reflects how consumers use these different classes of PCs. Many consumers look for PC as a general purpose device they can use for browsing, email, social media video. But much of this can be better served by a tablet. In contrast, gamers are preparing their systems for a strong roster of games coming this fall, including blockbuster franchises, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto V and Assassin's Creed IV."

Rockstar have been coy on the possibility of a PC version and this news will no doubt be greatly received by PC gamers who have traditionally had to wait until long after the console release of GTA games to get their hands on them.
