The PS4 and Xbox One are expected to launch in November 2013, and there's already a slew of first-party and third-party games to release alongside these next-gen consoles.

Meanwhile, Blizzard is working to bring Diablo 3 over to consoles. Though the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the game isn't due for release until 3 September 2013, it seems the next-gen equivalent will be a while yet.

Speaking to DiabloFans, Blizzard's Josh Mosqueira, Travis Day and Wyatt Cheng revealed a selection of details surrounding the PS4 version of Diablo 3.

Though the transcript has yet to go live, the interviewees revealed that Blizzard has only recently received PS4 dev kits, and so work on the next-gen version has been delayed.

As such it won't be a PS4 release date title; Diablo 3 will launch in 2014 for PS4 (and, presumably, Xbox One).

Diablo 3 also won't be coming to portable devices - so no PS Vita version, guys.

And then there's the inevitable expansion packs, which Blizzard revealed won't be expected to launch simulateously across PC and console versions and will, instead, make sure the content is relevant to all platforms.

We'll keep an eye out for the transcript, but you can read the interview summary covering a variety of Diablo 3 topics over on the DiabloFans website.
