Xbox One: 'Not All Customers Wanted A Fully Digital And Online System'
"We do listen and care what our loyal customers and fans have to say."

Aaron Greenberg, the Chief of Staff for Interactive Entertainment Business, has explained that 'not all consumers wanted a fully digital and online system', after Microsoft changed its Xbox One policies.
Responding to a fan email that was originally sent to Don Mattrick, the reply appeared on Reddit.
"Please know we appreciate your feedback and do listen and care what our loyal customers and fans have to say.
"Key message and feedback we heard was not all consumers wanted a fully digital and online system, most wanted the choice of current physical model versus digital, online required versus flexibility of being offline, etc.
"We have to make decisions for our platform, having a starting point and over time we will continue to add features and give consumers choice of the next several years."
Greenberg then outlines the benefits of Xbox One as a digital platform, from not needing discs to play to digital not wearing out or scratching. He then ends with "please also know we are committed to continue to make it better and better over time, just like we did with Xbox LIVE and with the Xbox 360."
