Stern words and ban threats handed out liberally...

Apparently, so we hear through the grapevine, those industrious little toerags who habitually play Modern Warfare 2 until their eyes bleed violence have discovered yet another exploit to make miserable the lives of those who just want enjoy the game without all the shouting and racism.

We know how to do it. It involves the Javelin. But we’re not telling you how to do it because frankly it makes us so angry we actually begin dry-retching. Luckily, Infinity Ward has promised a two week ban to all those doing it – on Xbox at least. Stephan Toulouse, the service’s online boss tweeted “While IW works on getting the MW2 glitch fixed, people we catch using it will receive suspensions from LIVE. Play fair everyone.”

Wise words, and ones that we’re absolutely certain that the game’s surprisingly vast population of rude, exploititive, ignorant, aggressive, bigoted under-12s will be listening with keen interest and change their ways immediately.
