US Air Force Orders More PS3s

The irony of the Air Force constructing a 'cloud' is not wasted on us. Arf! See...
It’s well known among those who know that the US military purchased over 300 PS3s with which to create their own intensive processing cloud; cell chips are cheaper than supercomputers, don’t you know. And now, recently, it’s come to light that the US Air Force has purchased another 2,200 machines to add to its existing cloud. No doubt because of the price drop. Yes, that was sarcasm right there.
“Kenny Loggins should write a song about this...”
According to slashdot.games.org who have access to the Justification Review Document, "Once the hardware configuration is implemented, software code will be developed in-house for cluster implementation utilizing a Linux-based operating software."
Either that or they’re using them as a training tool to ensure that soldiers reach level 70 before sending them into the battle zone. How else will they get the best gear and perks?
