Is Microsoft Working On In-Game Help?

Can games teach us how to play?
Rumours are mounting that Microsoft is working on a help system in response to Nintendo’s Super Guide autoplay idea for the Wii.
Apparently, this one will work by inviting the community to contribute their own playthrough sequences for tricky bits of games, but may even go so far as to allow screengrabbing, standalone video clips and even annotations with a marker pen-style graphical effect.

It all sounds pretty cool, but we’re initially concerned by the possibilities (or lack of) of moderation in this content. Especially for the more popular Halo-style fare; how many thousands of ‘lol masta chef falled off the bridge an dyed funny’ videos will one have to wade through before finding anything useful and relevant?
Still – it’s a fine idea on paper, and it wouldn’t do for a whole week to pass by without the discovery or announcement of yet another audience-broadening Xbox 360 scheme.
