Disaster Warnings to Appear On Xbox Live
Dan Howdle 15:41, Tuesday 24 November 2009

Hurricanes, floods, terrorist attacks... Godzillas!
Gozilla is killing you. As you thrash about, your pelvis is crushed by his giant reptilian palm and your head bitten off before it makes its journey of short-lived consciousness into his belly, then a few days later pops out his shitter. Or at least that would be the case if you lived in New York before Microsoft’s proposal of alerting Xbox Live Users to oncoming disasters.
Speaking to InformationWeek New York State Deputy CIO Rico Singleton says that the plan makes sense "considering the amount of time our youth spend on video games."
“Warning: Incoming EMP!”
Terrorists could feasibly thwart this system by restricting their attacks to AC-130s, Pave Lows, or Predator Missiles.
